New E-ZPass program with PayByCar makes parking, filling up tank easier
BALTIMORE — A new program in Maryland will allow drivers to pay for gas through their E-ZPass account. The move is coming after E-ZPass partnered with PayByCar for the mobile payment platform. Drivers with E-ZPass transponders will be able to pay by text at participating PayByCar gas stations and parking lots.

New Jersey drivers will soon be able to use their E-ZPass to pay for parking and gas. In a press release posted July 30, the E-ZPass Interagency Group announced the expansion of their Non-Toll Mobile Payment Program in partnership with PayByCar across the 19 states that use E-ZPass.
